Hi Mogens and welcome to our community! Wink
hopefully you'll find some knowledge here and I'm looking forward to learn from you as well.
BTW what kind of hosting are you running, is it Windows or Linux based? and do you run server on your own or resell services?

It is based on LInux Debian with vhcs controlpanel.

I have rented a server in USA and run the server on my own.

I do both stuff both hosting pages myself and reselling, since the controlpanel is able to do both

I'm fan of Debian myself, as you can see from my personal text near avatar I'm using Debian as my desktop for more than year and just love this OS.
it's nice to hear you're managing server yourself, maybe together we can bring more activity to Linux related board of our forums Wink
So if you have any tips, advices or question I'd be glad to see them on our forums Cheesy

I'm using Adwords myself, and conversion rate is only 4.42%. As for running hosting I think there are a lot of possibilites for marketing in this area. e.g. while you're not getting a lot of traffic from major search engines you may try to provide several webmaster relalted sites with a free hosting in exchange they would let their users know that they are hosted by your company.
Once you got several customers they may spread the word about your company, of course if they have good experience with you.
I really doubt that it's easy to start hosting company without any customers and their feedback, as I believe that many people before buy hosting these days would do some research first, and later choose company with good feedback and affordabe prices(or something like this, depending on their needs).
You can also try to take active part in webmaster related forums like ours, on such forums people may search for hosting for their sites and if your posts would look knowledgable there is a good chance that they would go with your company(BTW why don't you put link to your site in your signature it would let people to check your site).
You can also try to improve search engine ranking by submitting your site to various directories, as inbound links still count these days.
I've also spot that your site isn't on Engish, I know that all around say that it's better to concentrate on local business to get better results but maybe in case of hosting it's better not limit yourself with just one country? I would consider making English site version, as possibly some customers from other country would like to host site with you. (From experience I know that most amount of customers come from US and UK).
You may also consider placing some webmaster or hosting realted articles on your site, I alsways trust more to  sites which try to educate their customers(in good sense of these words) rather than just sell something.

BTW you've mentioned that you come from Denmark, how's the weahter there? as news say that whole Europe is under the snow...

ups Tongue my fault, I've looked for word "English" or British flag, not the "Dansk" that's probably why I didn't find it, maybe you could consider some more obvious way to switch languages? (or not hurry with it and ask few more folks about this, and if they would be able to find language switcher easily).

As for snow we don't have it here either, actually today was pretty snowy and warm day 15 degrees Celsius.

To get traffic, web hosting is one of the hardest areas to compete in. I gave up reselling and use my own service for my own sites, now I don't want customers since it would involve support  Grin

One of the hosts I use is so good, I gave up the idea of competing with them. They invested so much money making a low cost hosting package that has everything a small business needs, I decided to market their product instead and let them deal with the customers.

In my forum signature I link to the traffic system I have started using, it was shown to me by a business associate that has got 60,000+ page view credits per month using this system. In 2 days I got 500 credits but I haven't worked out how to get people clicking to my site in great numbers yet.

My ad for the web hosting that I have posted to this service is: http://startwinning.co.uk/3rd-sphere/ You may get some ideas for how to market your own service from this.

Another idea is to create an affiliate program for your hosting and build an army of affiliates to get you customers.
