Had a discussion with the boss (Denis) and we both thought it would be a good idea to start a topic on showing pictures of the neighbourhood you live in.  There are so very many different nationalities and countries as members of this Weblamp site, we hope it will proceed to be not only interesting but maybe amusing too....Any pictures you have of any neighbourhood events  that you would like to show on this topic would be very very welcome.
My input is the 'blue trees' which flower this time of year in my street, that I know Rachel likes, so I went for a walk with a digicam and here is the result.

you're living on the nice street, usually we can see such streets only in films from Hollywood Smiley
I like most nhood4.jpg BTW. What about your house, is it visible on any of these photos?
as for my neighbourhood it's not much to show...it looks pretty ugly Tongue My house is closest one, just behind the trees.

But, it is amazing since I found it as a satellite image from space. OK I will think up a cool way to show my local area. Maybe a video filmed from my motorbike as I ride around town  Cheesy

Here is a very unusual image of what it can look like as you drive into my home town...

It's the town hall.
