A friend on another forum has posted this and it should be posted everywhere you can copy and paste it. It is about an email about Michael Jackson committing suicide.....Don't open it!

So if this email pops up... then be on the look out.

REF:

Beware of email referring to Michael Jackson "killing himself", or some other line in the same frame of thought. Some out there are quick to grab at rumors on the internet. If you get such an item don't open it or your system will be compromised. Opening this email will cause you to go to a site that will infect your computer with a virus. I heard this on the national news. This tid bit has not yet made Urban Legends yet, so beware!! Please advise all persons you know -- to avoid an epidemic of viruses.

I read about that one. It's one of the top ways to get you to open an attachment along with the Bin Ladin email and a few pop music stars. Just delete the email.

Here's a few tips to try and keep you PC virus free :-

1, Install anti-virus software and keep the virus definitions up to date.

2, Don't automatically open attachments. Make sure you know who sent you them.

3, Scan all incoming email attachments. Use an anti-virus program.

4, Configure your anti-virus software to boot automatically on start-up.

5, Update your anti-virus software frequently.

6, Avoid downloading files you can't be sure are safe.

7, Virus scan CD's & other disks before using them.

Wink It's better to be safe than sorry !
