If ONLY There Is NO IF

WWW

The Safari Web-browser now comes with
the hugely popular, simple syndication
(RSS) feature, which is the way busy
people get their online news now.

Many major websites which are constantly
updated employ RSS to send you the latest
news and updates in bit-sized pieces.

So rather than actually logging into the
web page and waiting for everything to load,
you can open up a page with RSS "feed" and
see all the latest updates at one slot.

If you like, you can even clump all the
RSS feeds together and, voila, you have
your own personalized newspaper (minus
the advertisements).

RSS is not new, having been popularised
by browsers such as Mozilla Firefox. But
Safari does it in such a cool way and lets
you customise the way you want to read
your news very efficiently.

There are other features such as Automator
(creating automatic software tasks), a new
Quicktime media player which supports high-
definition video and an improved video-conferencing
tool in iChat.

It seemed that OS X would remain a niche
product and its beauty unknown to most.
But come next year, when Apple starts to
put Intel chips inside Macs, we will see a
real 'war' between Microsoft Windows and
OS X as they fight to become your operating
system of choice.

More about Safari's Web-browser and OS X..

Hey Newweb, do you have luck to own Mac? Wink (Just wonder, as I never seen them in real life, but hear a lot of myths about it's performance and so on, so would like to try them out some day).

I'm looking forward to see Mac OS X on the x86 platform, I guess it would lure a lot of Windows users by it's stability.
BTW I've already posted topic on this subject, so anyone interested please check this thread.
