Well I have lodged a chargeback with my bank and should get funds back this way. But what no one has seemed to notice we can also get these people for fraud as well as copyright I have investigated the BBBOnline, Thwarte, Verisign, Scan Alert, square trade, and trust e...they are not members of these companies using the seals illegally and now also comes under copyright I recieved the following email from BBBonline
Thank you for your message to BBBOnLine.

The misuse of the BBB Seals is a very serious issue.  When you see a BBBOnLine Seal on a web page, please note that it MUST be clickable, meaning once clicked a confirmation window pops up and explicitly tells you that company X is a participant in the BBBOnLine Program through date Y. The second important point is that the address bar on that confirmation page must say it is from http://www.bbbonline.org...

So after a review of the said site and seal, it does appear that this company is indeed misrepresenting themselves as participants in BBBOnLine.  We consider such displays a trademark violation and will actively pursue these issues.  Thank you for notifying us about this particular company.  You are a valuable part of keeping the BBBOnLine Seal the most recognized trust mark on the Internet.  This email will be forwarded to our trademark legal specialist to investigate.

With Best Regards,

TJ

BBBOnLine

this email will certainly help any chargeback claim you lodge with your bank..In Australia you have 90 days to lodge Im not sure about international chargeback rights but please contact your banks if anyone needs a copy of emails forwarded to them please email me at management@e-rotique.com

Hey,

I bought a website from them a few days ago, their 'lightning fast customer service' leaves alot to be desired as they cant be bothered to contact me.

Since I bought the website on ebay, I emailed the seller and told them about this forum, and threatened that if I didnt get a reply or my refund in 48hours,I would be reporting them to ebay.

Right....the site I bought is making money, good money...however....has anyone ever got their profits??

Class action??? I'm up for it. Wanna join me? email me at vintageblkrose@sbcglobal.net

Just had an email from the seller I bought the website from on ebay, I am getting a refund from him! yay!

And... I sent an email to the bastard company that maintains these sites:

Date:   Thu, 14 Apr 2005 17:58:35 -0700 (PDT)
From:   "Moses AREBALO" <vintageblkrose@sbcglobal.net>  Add to Address Book
Subject:   BeMine ec bsh vintageblkrose, Help@24HourSupport.us LEGAL ACTION!
To:   Help@24Hour-Help.com

Hi there,

I have sent about 4 emails to this email address, and
have not received any kind of response. Upon this
information, I did some research into your company and
have found it to be a scam.

Please see the following forum:

http://forum.weblamp.net/index.php?action=post;topic=2217.15;num_replies=60

I have contacted the seller about getting a refund,
but If I dont receive a refund, I will be doing some
of my own advertising, and in no time at all, the
whole internet will know that your company is a scam.
The FBI intern

You cannot 'dupe' people out of money, make false
promises, and then think you can get away with it.

Oh....you can contact ebay and paypal about me if you
like, I'm sure they would love more complaints about
your company.

Moses Arebalo

Please notice the amended subject line (oohhhhhhhh I wonder if their spam filters will filter out the word legal? LMFAO)

Anyways....hope it made ya laugh, we should all pool together and get these bastards!

Think that a few pages of complaints means that a company isn't honest?
Actually, Paypal isn't honest. They might be a legitimate company that yields results, but that doesn't mean they haven't dealt unfairly with their customers over the years. The way Paypal dealt with me on several different occassions was both unfair and dishonest. You don't realize it when you're on the satisfactory end... Maybe you've yielded good results with LilHost, but that doesn't mean they are a good and honest company-- That just means they work alright every once in a while.

Rachel, you are one of the few people I know that actually admits that paypal is less than honest. it is great to see someone who isn't afraid to say so.

I dont have the money to lay out initialy esp as my balance is even more. than the original one.....

Hi all, I was taken in by the scam too however the site that I accessed it by was dailycashsites.com ... I did a LOT of checking before I signed up and within the two days free period however it didn't come up at all in the searches no matter how I varied the name in the search engine.  It looks like the soulless Janice creates new sites with new names quite frequently.  In a recent email from her after I have started the process of getting my money back through PayPal, she says this:

"Because of your illegal claims all profits from all
> of your websites have
> now been seized. Your websites will continue to
> generate profits but your
> profits will not be released until all claims have
> been cancelled.
> Starting tonight at midnight you will be charged
> $200 per day per claim as
> a service fee. The $200 per day per claim will be
> deducted from your
> website profits. You do not need to respond to this
> email. Your email
> address has been blocked and we will not receive any
> emails from you until
> after your claims have been dropped. This payment
> processor always decides
> in our favor 100% of the time without fault so I
> recommend you save
> yourself the $1000 per day and cancel your claims
> before midnight. Your
> only course of action is to drop your claims as
> quickly as possible so
> that you receive your accrued profits and can once
> again begin making
> money."

Note how she mentions that "This payment processor always decides in our favor 100% of the time without fault" -- she obviously has quite a few claims made against her if she's saying things like this.  I'm hoping PayPal on moral & ethical grounds decide to discontinue her from their membership.

She also says in another email to a person that I purchased a service from via her dodgy site to quote"Tracking Number: http://69.41.242.171/login.php" in their Paypal dispute as well as " Comments: Explain to PayPal that: The buyer's> completed virtual Promotional Services were delivered online. This is an intangible item, not a tangible product."  She has read the Paypal Dispute Resolution guidelines and has latched on to the fact that dispute resolution seems not to favour intangible products.

What a low-life.

A couple of checks you can do if you're not sure about
how dodgy these profit sites are:

1.
http://www.Best-site-Host.com/uniqueunusualbeautiful
-- this website is not in my name, a
PAGE has been given my name, but if the website were
in my name it would say
www.uniqueunusualbeautiful.com.

2.  Go to a web domain site (I use planetdomain.com)
and type in www.Best-site-Host.com to see
if is available, and then click the Whois? link beside
it when it comes up that it is not available.
You will find that I do not own it, it was only
created on the 23 Jan 2005 (not operating for 7
years as stated), she has only purchased the domain
for 1 year (exp 23Jan06) and it hasn't been
modified since the creation date ie. I haven't been
made owner.

3. Send a message to Janice at Help@24Hour-Help.com to
ask her a few detailed questions and
see if you get a response.  I know she didn't respond
to me when I was checking out different bits
of info that required direct answers.

4. Has she delivered to you the promised profits as
stated originally or has she created new rules
as she goes along? Have you been doing this for 3
months and received the promised check?

5. CHeck out the posts left above ... do you think all
of these people are making this stuff up when they say they didn't
get from her what they were initially told.

6. Check out the BBB affiliation that is claimed to be
in place (Better Business Bureau)
www.bbb.org
Do a search and the name will not come up in any of
the variations that are given.  I have emailed
them and they said they need an address to find any
companies registered with them.  I asked
Janice and she said she didn't have this info. Why??
No answer from Janice on this one.

Please do not make yourself more out of pocket or put yourself in a position legally that you can be prosecuted (by selling sites or services associated with this "business".

EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN SCAMMED PLEASE TAKE 10 MINUTES OUT OF YOUR LIFE TO REPORT THE SCAM TO THE INTERNET FRAUD COMPLAINT CENTRE.

The more people that do this, the more this disgusting practice by dailycashsites.com, lilhost.com etc will be stopped and maybe it will give us all a start towards a class action.

STOP THE SCAMMERS!!!

I am concerned that many companies are calling domain names "websites" and selling them for exhorbitant prices. We all know that domain names can be bought very cheaply and they can usually be set up to redirect to or frame another website.

This is what the scammers seem to be doing and pretending that the domain name you bought is the website that has been framed.

If you right-click on your domain name and "view source" you can see the code.
If it contains "frame src=" you can tell it is framing a url of another site.

Some companies call a page on their site a "website". I feel this is a bad practice.

For example:
www.mysite.com
www.mysite.com/fredsmith
www.mysite.com?jane

are all the same website and not separate websites. The stats and earnings for each of these urls would likely be the same.

My understanding of a website is a collection of webpages stored in a directory tree starting with the index page which has the same ip address as the domain name.

The reason people don't make any money from these domain names they have bought is because they only have a domain name, title and possibly a description and keywords meta-tag for the search engines to pick up on. So if they are listed on a search engine at all, their domain name would be well down in the search engine placement e.g. the 10th page of results.

Senso,

please have a look at these scam artists sites. They are framing a site to get commission and then selling a domain name that frames their frame. Please help to close these scum down.
