I found a listing on ebay for what appears to be similiar in nature...the Seller is websitestore...it has relatively little feedback and lists Tampa/St. Pete as location of item... in the header of the email they sent me was   ' lilhost.propagation.net '  i then asked them numerous questions regarding the validity of these sites they are selling, these are noted below...they have not yet responded to my latest email which asks some very poignant questions so we'll see...what i think is happening and by no means am i an internet expert or anything, is that lilhost is using affiliates to market these bogus websites and then the buyer is left holding the bag when there is no one to back up these outrageous claims...note their link to testimonial page
here are my questions and their 'responses' (only to a few of the questions):::

ok great, most of these ares boilerlate responses that i have already received from you...so, you are internationally based, before you said you are 'internet based'...ok give me the name and location of ONE of your 'offices' in the USA..there thats got to be the simpliest request ever!!

1. Where is your company located? physical address:
4. How long have you been in business?
5. Again, where do I find your PayPal rating before the time I checkout?
By the time checkout rolls around it would be too late...
6. None of the testimonials is post guarantee, that is, at the point that
a person might need to collect on that guarantee...these testimonials are
all at the time of purchase and are not dated, so no one has the ability
to find out if these people ultimately got ripped off..
7. You've only been a member of Ebay since June of 2003 and the 1st Buyer
feedback you received was in Sept. of 2003 and again, the feedback is made
at time of purchase so yes, I believe they got a website or other product
from you, but there is no follow-up commentary that gives me information
as to how these people feel after 1 year ...so you have to realize how a
person would be skeptical looking at all this together
----- We are an international internet based company with offices and
staff members in many countries including USA, Canada, UK, Australia,
Mexico, Brasil, Peru, and Thailand. We have been creating, operating, and
selling websites for over 6 years and we always do everything possible to
make our customers very happy. We sold websites on eBay for over 5 years
and built up quite a great feedback profile. You will see that our
customers are always very happy with our websites as well as our service.
Please check out our PayPal rating which is currently at 1459. For privacy
reasons we obviously can not disclose to you the exact income of our
company, our affiliates, or any of our customers but if you view the
Details pages you will see how much money is being made with each
individual website. We can not release personal information, names, email
addresses, sales figures, incomes, URLs, etc but we can tell you that many
people are currently making large amounts of money with the websites we
have created for them. We also make amazing profits from the websites we
have created and operate ourselves. You can view a few of our customer
testimonials at http://66.34.4.204/testimonials.php. Many of the
testimonials talk about how great our service is but you will also find
comments regarding how much money our customers are making.

2. What is your website address?
----- If you first saw our websites listed on an auction website you were
looking at listings posted by one of our resellers. We will not be able to
provide you with a direct link to our website but you can view the current
auction listings to see which websites are still being offered. If you
provide us with specific listing numbers we can make sure the sales are
being conducted by an authorized reseller. We handle all of the customer
service for our resellers so we will of course be able to answer any
questions you have  Smiley

3. What is your telephone number?
----- Using email to provide customer service allows us to answer
questions much more quickly and in the correct priority. For this reason
we do not provide a telephone number as a point of contact. After you have
been a customer for a longer period of time we may be able to provide you
with a private telephone number for customer service purposes. Please feel
free to ask as many questions as you like and they will be answered via
email as quickly as possible  Smiley

I too have been SCAMMED by this company and have been looking for others that have too, when I came upon this site. It has been three months since I bought 2 websites from these people and have the same problems as the rest of you. Yesterday I sent a email listing EVERY problem I have had with them and haven't heard back as of yet. I have not recieved the supposed $10 I made as soon as I bought the sites. I also had to BUY a file manager to manage my supposed websites for $30, which they promptly sent a reply saying my sites can't be changed and put my $30 in my "ACCOUNT", so now they have $40 that I haven't got back. I TOTALY AGREE that we NEED to get together and put them out of business!!! For those of you who bought through eBay, PLEASE report them and file a complaint as with alot of complaints against them, eBay will suspend or ban them from eBay. File a complaint with the BETTER BUSINESS ONLINE. I went there yesterday and there is not ANY complaints against them!! I informed them in my email I was going to report them to whoever I could to put them OUT OF BUSINESS. 2 words that have been effective in the past for resolving problems are FRAUD and  FBI. PLEASE DON"T GIVE UP OR DO NOTHING!!!!! Thats what they are counting on.

when i bought it , you said it was complete and ready to make money .
after i got it , i had no control of at  all . you said that other stuff admin control , payment system , control panel ect. was extra . you said that you were working on getting that other stuff and would let your buyers know . i never heard from you again . i paid you $50. for the site on ebay , $10. for a counter that you gave me a stupid link for instead of putting it on the site . i also gave you $45. for a domain that you didnt even put in my name . so, i have control of the site or the domain . you also told me that you would put a file manager on the site for me , but you never did !!!! i dont even have ftp access so what control do i have Huh
you said that you gave a 10% garantee if i didnt make anything on it . i hear that from many other ppl that is i big lie. i dont have the first email now , but my address was jtremblay@sbcglobal.net  . i dont have the address up right now but i still have it on  my paypal account . i can recieve money at that address. my name on file is john tremblay .
the site is tremblaysauctionhouse.com . i spoke to a lawyer and an FBI agent. they said that was enough info for you to look up my account . they said that many ppl are filing complaints about you . they said to give you one more chance and if nothing happens, to file a complaint . they said that they are getting enough complaint to build a good case against you .

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to post this --- this is a copy of some e-mail correspondence, which was posted on the VOY forum last November.  The forum had hundreds of people that posted about how they had been scammed by "Lilhost".

Dear xxxxxx,

Thank you for contacting Vegas Affiliates.

The reason why your website looks like our merchants website is simply because they are the same website.
What Lilhost sold you is a URL (the name http://www.inactivedomain.com/grand-hotelcasino only).
When someone visits the URL you bought, Lilhost redirects the user to our own website http://www.inactivedomain.com/grandhotelcasino

You have indeed been scammed by people at Lilhost (and you are not the only one).
We are not related to Lilhost in any way, and refuse all applications from Lilhost URL owners, as this company is in breach of our terms and conditions. Their marketing wording implies that the website design, trademarks and services originates from them, when all they do is buy URL similar to ours and resell them.

What they are really doing is making you an affiliates of ours, making money on your back in the process, as they get second tier commission on all commissions you would get.

For your account, they didnt even care applying your website to our casino merchants.

No need to tell you that this company never asked us before setting up this scheme.

You'd better contact Lilhost about this problem, as there is nothing I can do to help you...
I do apologize for the inconvenience but our terms and conditions are strict, and we cannot stray from them.

Regards,

Unfortunately, the forum was shut down -- since there were a few not following the forum's rules.  So you guys are just some of the new people being screwed -- there's been many before you.   You must file your complaint to the Internet FBI -- they will only go after companies that have ALOT of complaints from the public, because when there's only a few complaints -- this doesn't spell out FRAUD to them -- they just assume there's a few angry people upset with a company.    Most people assume that "the other guy" will file a complaint -- so they don't have too.
One last thing -- if you paid by Visa, do a chargeback with your Visa company -- usually they will do so up till 60 days.   I did this - and got my money back!!

Good Luck & go get em'  ........

Hi folks. So glad I found this place!! Typed in LilHost and arrived here. November of last year I bought a partner site. http://www.inactivedomain.com/igoldhost/hhickton/ and that site is still up. A travel site and PromotionPro site I bought later. Now all my URLS take me to my partner site. I asked for the urls to point to my sites and was told no record. I emailed them the letters plus a payment receipt and got a load of crap back. I gave then a negative rating on Alexa (Amazon). Many more should do it. Anyone want to complain or do a class action then I am 100% behind you!

We have purchased a website via ebay from a reseller in Perth, Australia. It sounds just like your predicament. We were promised that we were purchasing Lushlingerie.com & we have been sold some stupid hostdotcom.com/rikmanis - how people are going to find us in a search for lingerie is beyond me. Anyway, we have discovered that the site is actually sold by formoney8.com who also turned out to be lilhost.com & emallbuys.com & money-making-websites.com. The different names are what stopped us from heeding your feedback before purchasing the site. We are about to approach either a lawyer or our local current affairs program to expose them. We have sent both the reseller & formoney8.com numerous emails - at first requesting assistance, then demanding help, then requesting refund & still no reply.

Please let us know what result you got from going to a lawyer.

Thanks Rob & Ash.

P.S. I love the way that only the good testimonials get published because I have left 2 that people really should read but they have disappeared into thin air!!!! Huh

Have you marketed your estore at all? Is it in the search engines when someone searches? If not, you will never make money.

I have not given this company any money and after reading all of the complaints against them, I will not use them. However, I was wondering why I can't find any record of this company with the BBB. Has anyone filed a complaint against them? If so, what business name was used? I haven't done business with them, but I already feel angry toward them.
