I just want to let everyone to know to stay away from www.inactivedomain.com/lilhost
I bought a website and a domain name from them and I was lied to and now they continue to cheat me.
Before I bought the website they answered all my questions and encouraged me to ask as much as I needed to.
I was told that if I didn't make $6500 per month that I would get 10 times my money back.  Well trust me, that is a joke.
Where I am having most of my problems now is with the domain name that I purchased from them.
I have tried to transfer the domain name to another hosting company and add credit card capibility to the website.
I have no control over the domain name that I purchases because lilhost.com registered the domain name in someone else's name.  NOT MINE!
Lilhost.com refuses to change the information.  They say that it is "impossible".  I have contacted everyone on the registration that shows in the WHOIS, but no one will communicate with me.
I advised WHOIS that the registration is incorrect and they advise me that it is not my domain name.
I have all previous email correspondence and even an email where lilhost.com tells me that I am the legal and rightful owner.
They LIE!!!!!!!!
Check www.whois.com and you tell me if I am the registered owner.

I have visited their site.  Did you build your site yourself, or was it one of their pre-built sites?

If you feel you have been cheated bring all of your proof to a lawyer and see what they can do for you.  I think they will be the only ones that can help you at this point.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Thanks for replying.
I bought a website that was already built.  I even ask them before I bought the website and after if once I bought the website could anyone else buy it.  They told me that I was the only owner and no one else could buy the website.  If you go to their site right now and look at healthplus - well that is the website that I originally bought.  It is still there, for sale.
I am not concerned about the site as I am about the domain name.
They registered it to someone other than me.
I have all the information as for receipts where I paid for it and a all of the emails that they have sent.  Now they just refuse to reply to my emails.
Even if I took all of the information to a lawyer, how can a lawyer contact them?
It is in my understanding that I can go through ICANN or enon and make a complaint (they actually call it something else, I just forgot the word they use).  But if I do this and lilhost.com or namecheap.com does not reply then they will shut down the domain name.  Now really - is that the right way to handle it?  Once again, the little guy goes down and/or has to put out alot of money.
I am in hopes that if I continue to pursue the principle of the matter that they will change it.
But one never knows what the higher powers will do.
Just wish me luck, and if you hear of or know of anything, please let me know.
Thank you,
Alta

I am so glad that you looked before you leaped.  I certainly wish that I had done that.
I am still in a battle with them.  I am not one to give up easily.
So according to them, I am a liar because of the forum.
Funny how the pot can call the kettle black - so to say.
Anyone that wants to believe lilhost.com - go right ahead.  They took my money and I am sure they will take your money also.
Email me before you spend a penny at lilhost.com
I can email you the truth all in black and white.
Great job!  For checking before you bought!

I have reported lilhost.com to the whois directory.  I am waiting on a followup from the whois directory.
The sad part about it is that if lilhost.com or namecheap does not reply within 15 days that my domain name will be deleted.
I ask - is that the correct way to handle this?
I believe that if I can show proof of purchase and emails from lilhost and namecheap that I should not be the one to be punished and the information could and should be corrected by the whois directory.

Hello-
I am a reseller for LiLhost and I have had no problems so far, I do think that some think that when they purchase a website from lilhost  that they are buying the domain name as well, if you read most of the sites details page at lilhost.com  you will see where it states a customized url website address and then there are some of the sites that state  the domain name and website, I found it to be confusing on that issue because some people assume that it is for the domain name and the website , but after I read it a few times I could see the difference.
But if they told you in the ad where you purchased the site that the website included the domain name as well , then that is not right and I would contact an attorney

Well for the person that says they are a reseller for lilhost.  Would you mind explaining just a bit more.
Here is what I am faced with and you tell me your expert opinion.
1st - I bought a website from lilhost - it did not have a domain name
2nd - I bought a domain name from lilhost
3rd - I put the domain name with another website
4th - I email lilhost a copy of an email that I received from namecheap (where lilhost bought the domain name from with my money)
5th - lilhost refuses to reply or acknowledge my email
However, in previous email from lilhost they state that I am the owner of the domain name.
Here is the domain name - www.inactivedomain.com/ourhealthstore
Look it up on the whois directory and you tell me who is the owner.
Now if I have proof that I paid for the domain name - who is legally the domain name owner?
And then there is whois - I have emailed whois and advised them that the registration is invalid.  That they were given the incorrect information.  My reply from whois - is that if anyone on the registered info does not reply to them within 15 days that my domain name will be deleted.
Can you please explain all of this to me?
Thank you

We purchased a cash casino website from lilhost.com.  After a few months and it still was not generating a profit, I tried contacting them repeatedly but could get no response other than that I was using an incorrect subject line.  After checking with WHOSIS, I found that the information there wasn't correct, I have gone to live chat via their site and can get no help.  I have reported this to the FBI fraud site along with all supporting documentation.   If we all pool our information, perhaps we can put a stop to these people.  You can  contact me at golfer3930@aol.com for additional information.

To The Reseller:

As far as your customization, the only customization was www.inactivedomain.com/123ez/golfer3930 (Now that's really customazation isn't it? A page on their website. Get real.)  Now that site is redirected to their main purchase site.

Don't worry reseller, you'll be following us down the road of fraud.

Like everbody else here, wish I had read about crapola rip off before losing $400 to an ebay reseller.  I complained to him, he offered to refund me the profit he made from the sale, minus his expenses of course, but I want all my money back.

I bought a what I thought was www.inactivedomain.com/promosecrets, what I was delivered was www.inactivedomain.com/promosecrets.  When I contacted the clowns at sitehelp.com who answer the emails for this con job company, I was told that they do not respond to rude people, (I accused them of fraud, go figure).

The www.inactivedomain.com/promosecrets and .us sites are supposedly hosted by www.enom.com.  I have sent them an email letting them know what one of their valued customers are up too. I've also contacted my bank's fraud section, with the hope that I will get my money back through their credit card people.

Anyway, if you ever see a site from these clowns for sale, contact a friend in China and see if they will launch a denial of service attack for you, it might be doing the world a favor.

I too am having a considerable amount of trouble with "Bess", the only "support" personnel I have been able to contact. I could swear that by the look of some "her" responses, I get the oddest feeling that they are automatically generated. I have had the misfortune of purchasing a website for $600 and applying "upgrades" to my affiliate level as well as supposed thousands of search engine entries (what a mistake). I fell for the good ol' "guaranteed money-maker" bit, and after more than six months I have generated not a single dime. Funny...the only hits that the site's counter receives are my own. I have requested to speak to her supervisor over the telephone, or atleast provide a business address or even a fax number. Bess' response was that e-mail was the only means of contact, and that I am to deal specifically with her.

Honestly, I'm more angry at myself for taking the bait and being suckered. Just today, I sent "Bess" an e-mail detailing the results of my utterly useless website, and that considering it had not delivered anything remotely close to what was advertised, I wanted a refund. The e-mail wasn't harsh or rude in any way...I just expressed that I felt a refund was in order. She responded 10 minutes later with a single paragraph explaining that I had not used the proper subject line, and that by correcting this, it would allow her to assist me. Considering I provided my username and password, full name and name of the website in the e-mail, along with my username and password in the subject heading...I pulled a Spock face and raised an eyebrow.

I wrote back explaining that she should have all the information she needed to process my inquery, and that subject line info nor any contact information whatsoever could be found on the affliate member's site. At this time lilhost.com appears offline as well. I asked if it were simply a matter of a subject line, then please provide simple instructions.

Her response was to locate the original e-mail I received upon purchasing the site.

So I responded, quite flustered at the lack of professionalism this individual displaying for me. I informed her that I did not have the original e-mail with the proper subject line instructions. I went on to express how appauled I was that contact has been initiated between us, and assistance is refused over a subject line.

Her response: another request for the proper subject line, this time with a :) at the end of it. I smirked, and at that moment I was 110% certain that I've been maliciously ripped off. My reply included many phrases involving the word fraud, which is what "Lilhost" and all those that solicit pre-made websites for these crooks are. I'm a firm believer in Karma, and payback's a *itch. My credit card company has been notified, and they are investigating my claim.

A plea to anyone considering the purchase of a Lilhost "guaranteed money-maker" website: DO NOT! IT IS A SCAM!

Hello,

Below is an email I sent to one of the web hosting companies that this scam operation uses. You might try doing the same.

Hello,

I am trying to track down names and phone numbers of the scam outfit that has their web site, promosecrets.net hosted from your site. Please take a look at the links below to understand what I am talking about:

The web site I thought I was buying from these people:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3811793080&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOAB:US:6

The website I was delivered by these people:
www.inactivedomain.com/promosecrets

The link to a warning, after the fact about this company:

http://forum.weblamp.net/index.php?topic=2217.msg12315;topicseen
(read the bit at the bottom about fraud and the FBI regarding this company)

I am interested in hearing what you have to say about this customer of yours.

Regards,
Robert

Looks like they got some recruiters in Australia now too....

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2992&item=3815031433&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Sadly, I almost bought one of these and luckily did a little research first. I then did the right thing and warned whoever this reseller was about Lilhost, of course I got no reply and they have continued reselling. At $1200+ a pop, I can see why they don't care who they rip off. From what I can see, they register a similar domain name, then give the buyer an affiliate ID, transfer the domain and charge them $1200+ for their troubles!

Of course, this is totally legal I guess, until you read the 10x Money Back Guarantee. The seller doesn't guarantee this (although it is implied), Lilhost does. I love their line about "#1 position on Google!"

Spread the word people!
