I love the atlantis theory. It would be amazing if such a place had existed.

My favorite myth is the Lock Ness Monster. The idea that a prehistoric sea serpent has survived so long in a lake in scottland is amazing. This one has a lot of pictures to back it up. Some have been proven fake, but many have not. That helps fuel the story.

This is mine as well. Smiley
When I was a little girl I always wanted to visit Scotland to see this creature, in hopes I might get lucky and catch a glimpse of it.

It is still fun to think it might still be out there...

Since we're all listing favourite/fascination myths, I thought I'd go ahead and list my least favourite/fascinating myth: The friendly, fun and cuddly Chupacabra!

Chupacabra is this disgusting creature that sucks blood out of small animals and is always portrayed as some deformed-like porcupine/lizard/cat thing (I don't think anyone has ever clearly identified what it looks like). I don't remember how I found out about it, I think I was looking up information on Lochness and managed to come across some info on it as well.
