Kaz, I am the Moderator that placed the post in the spam incinerator. I told you why it was put there. I am sorry if you disagree with my thoughts on this. Denis (SensoVision) is the owner of this forum and has the final say on the matter.

Denis, if you have time, would you please take a look and see if you agree with me on this. If not, I will happily delete my posts on that thread and not move it agian. If you have any questions on the reasons for my thoughts, I should be around as I am working those long hours again.

Heidi

I am sorry that we disagree on the content and reasons behind my post ( >:(I have put my point across where you put the original post of your thoughts).

We both seem to be looking at different angles.  Huh  I do not like the fact that you classed this as a scam which I am deeply offended by.    Cry

I appreciate we all have different ideas on promotion/ideas for sites but my top priority is what my members on my site want, not you unfortunately!

I do however appreciate all your hard work on the forum and that there are people out there that are a scam BUT MY SITE IS NOT ONE OF THEM!

This is why I am annoyed and would appreciate your comments been deleted off this forum!

Thank you

I will not delete my thoughts unless Denis requests me to. I am sorry if you cannot see why I feel the way I do.  I have been an internet professional longer than most people have been on the internet. I am one of the earliest internet marketers. Long before the term SEO was ever used. My opinion is not based on a rash moment or lack of experience. I have seen many sites offering the same thing you are. They have ALL been a scam.

You arrive here as a new users (less than 5 posts) and post something that has ALWAYS been a scam in the past. You expect me to believe that your "offer" is different than any others that have been online over the past 10 years. Sorry, call me synical, but I find that extremely hard to belive. It looks like someone else trying to make a $$$ off the ignorant.

Like I said, it is Denis's choice. When he takes a look at the post he and I will talk about it. If he says he believes I am incorrect, then I will remove my posts. However, if he agrees with me, then my posts will stay.

Hello again

I would like to say firstly that i respect your opinion and have never questioned your integrity of been involved in the internet world.  Smiley I appreciate people looking out for members within this forum that is why i joined and have the full support of members with in the forum until now. Sad

I do however feel that members of this forum should be able to voice there opinions if they do not agree with what you say and again I will say I DO NOT LIKE BEEN CALLED A 'SCAM' SITE.

I have joined many forums on starting my site to ask for peoples opinions and views on what/do not like with sites and that is why I have set up a redeem for advertising site instead of paying money out to members.  (As myself have had been taken for a ride by sites i was a member of and DO NOT WANT TO DO THIS TO MY MEMBERS). I have not gone into setting up this site lightly!

As you I would appreciate if you would let members like myself voice my opinions as well.  I do not feel it is a matter of who Denis believes or not it is the fact that i do not take kindly to someone who says my site is a scam when firstly it has just been launched and secondly this idea of the competition for clicking banners was one of the members of my sites ideas.

As for the matter of making $$$$ out of the site.  That does not really interest me at all.  As long as i meet the costs to cover the hosting etc of the site that is all i am interested in.  i enjoy meeting people and learning about the internet that is why i set up the site.  If i can offer people a site to place there advertising and earn FREE ADVERTISING then I am happy with that.

I thought these sites were for the members? Huh

thank you

ok, I've found this thread (for anyone interested it here is the link to it http://forum.weblamp.net/index.php?topic=3605.0 )
I've read it and totally agree with Hope about decision to move it into incinerator, I would do it myself if spot it before. It doesn't provide any information which would be valuable for webmasters of our community, it just advertisement to your site and nothing more. You can still advertise it as you had it in your signature, and if you do valuable posts be sure that people would mention you and some of them check your site as well.
Thank you and hope you understand why this thread should be left in incinerator.

Thank you Denis

I hope you do appreciate that i have to consider everything that my members want on my site and that is what i did. )As you do with members within your forum). I do however do not feel this was a 'who agrees with who'  i still stand by that people in your forum should not go accusing peoples sites as 'scams' when they know nothing about the site or its members (especially when it has just been launched).

Anyway I hope that a lesson has been learned by this that people should give new owners and there members a chance with there new sites and not judge them personally as this is what i still think Hope was doing unfortunately.

If I could suggest that if members of your forum put posts in that you do not think are appropriate to your members could there not be accusations.  Also if

The lesson that should be learned is advertising your site in the fashion you did it unacceptable in this forum.

I did not judge your site personally. I judged it as a professional. Your site offers nothing but a link/banner clicking scam. I stand by that. I will not change my professional opinion on that.

If this has offended you, then you might want to look at what you are offering and why you think it is so beneficial to professional webmasters. Figure out what kind of traffic is really being driven to these sites. Ask yourself how this is helping ANYONE besides those who make money off page views. If you can justify your actions as something beneficial, then you can sleep good at night.

Heidi

i would appreciate if you would STOP critising me all the time.  i have explained numerous times that I was asked by one of my members to do the competion banners, I DID NOT THINK THIS UP MYSELF.

If you want to be helpful to new owners of sites would it not be better trying to HELP  and OFFER PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.  I have explained I am new to all this and that is why I am asking people in forums for there help and advice.

I respect your opinion but would prefer help to make my site not one of these so called SCAM sites please!

This has nothing to do with you. This has to do with your website. Please stop taking my comments as personal. If they were personal you would know it.

I don't care who thought it up. You implemented it on your site without thought of what it was you were impletementing

I have told you what is wrong with your site and why. You have done nothing but take this as a personal attack. It is my responsiblity as a professional marketer to point out to others who are new to the internet why your program is faulty.

You want my advise? It is to scrap the entire concept. Research the web history of marketing. Learn what has been done and found to not work. Once you have done that, then you can start with a new idea.

The concept of your site is as old as the internet. It didn't work then and it will not work now. If the people on your site requested this, then they could be leading you astray to boost banner sales on their site.

Well heidi

it is so refreshing to here your comments.  I must say you are very helpful.

I would also like to say that your comment 'if they were personal you would know it', sounds abit off!  But sorry i will not take things personnel as you do not mean them do you!

i will be doing some research but as i said earlier everyone has to start somewhere

Thank you for your helpful comments
