Happy New Year

It was like a war zone around here last night. The amount of fireworks that went up was incredible. Anyway hope this year is even better than the one that's just gone.

thanks for wishes, Graham! and Happy New Year to you too and all of our members!  Smiley
BTW we've got a lot of smoke here as well, I hardly could see fireworks which fly everythere, so I skip on making any photos and just enjoy celebration with my family Smiley

I hope everyone had a safe New Years Celebration. Mine was quite uneventful. My son wanted to stay up but fell asleep at 11 pm. I work him at 11:45 only to have him fall asleep again. At 45 seconds till midnight I work him again. He saw the new year come in and gave me a kiss, thanked me for waking him, wished me a happy new year and went off to bed.

I would have been up later if I wasn't alone. If my son hadn't fallen asleep I would have stayed up as late as he wanted.

I think I stayed up til about 4 in the morning this last time... I watched Tom Green kiss someone on the TV and then proceeded to watch a few New Year re-runs from earlier that day. After that I sat up and talked with my sister for awhile and finally went to bed. I didn't see any fireworks, mainly because one of my neighbors was having a huge party with all his buddies and I didn't really want to be outside when it was going on...

No snow this year in Florida, even though I had a vivid dream last night that there was snow all over the place... Wink

Snow? what is that? it is going to be 60F (15c) here in Washington, DC. it is the middle of winter. We shoudl have snow on the ground and be forced to wear hats and gloves. This weather is nuts.
