Why don't you start  Plug in Profit site.
Few affiliate program is listed and that
under all your control and it is 100% FREE.
You can see the signature link
to get little more. However, Click Bank
CJ are great !!

I recomend all above.

Hi

I use www.omguk.com as a basis for my directory and this pays per click, I then supplement this with mirago pay per click - these work by offering 40% of the cost of the click as a commission - VERY lucrative, also I have google adwords on every page - again very successful. As a network I find that www.affiliatefuture.co.uk is excellent in terms of reporting and choice. If you want to earn lots of money some of the best programs are the financial ones and www.smart-quotes.net is a prime provider in the UK - here you can get links to promote credit cards, loans, insurance, mortgages, pensions etc and all pay very high payouts on sales and leads. OMGUK also are a good pick for financial programmes.

Regards
Phil

Pay per click is a great way to monetize a high traffic site but affiliate programs pay much more (where the commission is high like 40%+) if you can get sales.

I felt that I had maxed out with Google so advertised some more ebooks from cj.com and found a suprising boost in commissions.

Hi Andy

In the experience I have I find that affiliate programs are good, but are not as reliable as the PPC for a regular income, for example I have made a killing over Christmas on affiliate programs then made next to nothing once the Season had passed. At least with the PPC the traffic through the site is a continual income. A bit like the hare and the tortoise, I find that I am better off with a bit of income each day than the odd affiliate sale.

Depends on the sites focus I guess aswell.

Cheers
Phil
