Hi,

I'm now using the open-source (Free) Firefox browser that seems to be a viable competitor to Internet Explorer and it seems perfectly fine. A couple of reasons why I switched over from IE6 was that I tend to have a large number of sites open at any time and Firefox makes this much more manageable with tabbed browsing easy to select as opposed to new windows. And the other reason was that I changed my PC and couldn't find MS Internet Explorer within Windows XP so found it easier to simply download and install Firefox! I have since found IE6 on my PC (Windows XP2) by entering a URL into the windows explorer address bar (after figuring how to display the address bar). So now I had the idea to use IE6 with Google Toolbar and Alexa for my webmaster stuff and Firefox for general web browsing.

btw I really like Windows XP, it's quick and stable and the visuals are good.

Here is a link I set up to take you to the Firefox page and hopefully earn me some points towards t-shirts and stuff  Grin:

Alternatively it's easy to search for "Firefox" on Google etc.

Since my 1st post  I have discovered that I don't have to use Internet Explorer to display Page Rank of sites. There is now a FireFox plugin: http://www.quirk.co.za/searchstatus/ It makes a very small graphic at the foot of your  FireFox browser like this:

Great,

I used to only use IE6 so Firefox must be pretty good now! Firefox works very well under XP Service Pack 2 ;-)
