Hi, I designed a tracking system that allows you to check who is on your web site, where they are coming from, what they are searching for, their path while navigating on your site, entry pages, countries, operating systems, screen resolutions, etc...

You don't need to display a counter or a logo, and it's Free!

Check it out: I-stats: Web Statistics

Hi Coimbfs,

your web site looks very professional. I just wonder how you can handle the traffic and how you can benefit from it?

The problem is that each hit on a website using your service results in a hit on your hosting. So if you have 1000 users, you get 1000 times their hits. It doesn't take long to use up all your bandwidth.

Hi Andy, Thanks for visiting my Web site. The traffic is not a big deal because each call to my web site is very minimum in terms of bandwidth. But you're right, once it grows 1000+ users it might become a problem. However, space is a problem that will have to be dealt before bandwidth, as it grows faster. Right now I'm only using 10% of my space, and 3% monthly bandwidth. But I don't have 1000 users yet... When the time comes, I guess I might have to divide it to different servers and databases.

Well, I started this Web site as a personal project. I wanted to create a Web site entirely by myself: graphic design / content / programming / marketing. Then I decided to make it available to some friends and now to the public. So, I'm not benefiting from it in any way yet.

Thanks,

Felipe Coimbra

I thought i should mention the bandwidth problem since I  suffered from this and have noticed many other free tracking sites closed down because of this. Once your service gets popular it goes exponential.
