If you have lots of affiliate links on your website, does the page rank go down or the serp

decrease?

What is this post doing here?

Page rank is based on usefullness after a search. if someone searched for "lots of affiliate links" then I guess your site would get a high page rank.

I think it would depend if there is more on the page than just affiliate links. If there is good content with the links, then it should rank well.

I guess my previous post was not very usefull.

Lots of outbound links unrelated to the page content is likely to downgrade your PR in my opinion. Links to related content may improve it. Affiliate links could possibly enhance the visitor experience if they guide the visitor to related stuff so could boost PR. It all depends on the PR algorithm and how it is coded which is unknown to most of us.
