Hi guys,
Just wondering, what's your favorite chat messenger. For me yahoo is the best. How do you find ICQ?

I'm historically use ICQ, just because most of people I'm talking with use it as well, but I find that Yahoo loads faster and work better for me actually, so I have Yahoo messenger almost always running, although not much people are seeking me there. I don't like MSN and AIM as they frequently disconnect for some reason and AIM doesn't deliver offline messages.
So my chiose are Yahoo and ICQ

For me it is Trillian. I use it because it has MSN, Yahoo, AOL IM, and ICQ as well as IRC. I use all of them. Some to just chat, others for business.

mIRC is a lot different from a msg client. msg clients are more of a one on one environment. they are good for quick questions or getting information to someone. mIRC is a community. It is a chat room, not good for work or privacy.

Hope, I see what your saying, but I do a fair share of "chit chat" via IRC and MSN. When used correctly irc networks, can benefit business and users. Users are often able to contact many different staff quickly and simply. Also scripts can be written or egg drops can be configured to monitor the channel, and protect the channels users. Not to mention all the sounds and colours going off in MSN and the fantastic "sign in bomb"  that floods everyone on their contact list.

Although msn might be ok for some, I personally think its more hassle than its worth. mIRC is the way forward! It wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft logged your conversations too - for software ideas anyway Wink

Sorry if i upset anyone, just not a fan of Microsoft / MSN Messenger.

None of the above. I have no chat friends so I don't use any. Of course the reason I don't have chat friends, is because I don't have a chat client installed. Its a vicious cycle...clam... err... I mean "clam" :-)
