I've made the tool with which I can get the color value I want.

Every advice would be appreciated.

great tool. I would suggest making the pallet on the bottom larger. that would help in narrowing down the color someone is looking for.

BTW, I have bookmarked the site. Thanks for posting it.

Do you mean enlarging the size of pallet or  increasing the number of colors of the pallet?

If you like those kinds of web tools, look at the following page which contains several web tools I made.
http://www.qindex.info/Q_incld/Qindx_drctry.php?id=Qindex&ctgry=9

Thanks for your review.

not the number of colors in the pallet, but the physical size of the pallet. I have my resolution set to 1600x1200 and the pallet was less than an inch across on my monitor. it is a great tool, but could use a bigger target to look at.

Of the other tools, they are good. I don't know that I would use them as much as the color one. I don't care for the colored scroll bar, I like my gray. (old fashioned what can I say). I might use the  pop-up generator, but will need to take a look at it to see how it works. I really hate javascript. the others will not be helpful for me either only cause I work in forms and tables all the time and can do that stuff in my sleep. (gosh, I need a life).

I am sure others will find the tools very useful. They will make a lot of peoples lives much easier. Thank you so much for sharing them.

Oh, you've setted your computer to a very high resolution.
I tagerted 1024*768 pixels based on my statistics.
http://www.qindex.info/Q_frame.php?s_clss=stts_show

I'm going to consider variable pallet size according to the clients' resolution
, though it will be very complicated.

hi trustle! you have some nice tools out there, thanks for letting know about them!
BTW I've an advice about color wheel, it's take time to load on my modem, maybe you should split it to separate page to make it easier to load? I've also bookmarked your page Smiley BTW maybe you'll submit your tool page into www.Pharos-Search.com I guess many people would find such tool useful.

It's one of bookmarks owned by Qindex.
http://www.qindex.info/index.php?id=Qindex
(or input "Qindex" in the id text field and hit enter.)
In the above, the page is located at "Qindex home  > − tools_web".
It may seem to be a little complicated.

Hi trustle,

this is a very useful tool especially for the beginner webmaster. There is one little modification that I would make though.

On the color pallete on the bottom. When you mouse over any of the colors you get the value indicated above but if you try to copy and paste those values you can't do it because when you move your mouse out to try to copy the color codes, you have to mouse over the other colors so you don't get the value you want to copy.

I would recommend that the user would be able to click the colored square and the value would be constant so they can copy the color code. Then when they want to choose a different color, they can just click another square and be able to copy the color codes without the codes changing when you move your mouse out of the square.

Other than that, it is a very useful tool Smiley

MyWebTeks,
it has functioned as you said.
I wrote "If you put your mouse over any color, then you will see the color and the value of it. Clicking will fix the color and clicking again will release the fixed color."
