Thanks, Susieq!

We've been on a long bumpy road for the past few years, but are starting to see things fall in place!  We are hoping to have two or three Wolf cubs next spring.  Cool

Sue,

Thanks for the link.  The Irish Wolfhound is one of my favorite dog breeds.  They are huge.  Jeez, now I would like to find one of those.  I really love animals even the homely ones!  Do you have Armadillos in Australia?  If not, check this out http://www.msu.edu/~nixonjos/armadillo/pictures.html  These are positively the homeliest animal we have on the preserve!

By the way, my Son, John visited Australia while he was in the Marine Corp, twice.  He absolutely loved it!

The only thing we have in England that looks anything like an Armadillo is a Hedgehog.

a hedgehog looks nothing like an Armadillo. Then again, nothing looks like an armadillo. They are a unique animal. I remember when I lived in Oklahoma, I would see them on the side of the road. They had bit hit by vehicles. They looked fine, but they where dead. I always wondered just how much damage the vehicles had after hitting them. They are a tough looking animal. I never got to see one up close because I lived in the city and they didn't come near the city.

I Know, but a hedgehog rolls into a ball and tends to get run over by cars.

LOL, ok, if you say so, but a hedgehog is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH smaller than an armadillo.

Hello 12Noon,
I disagree with Hope.  Their faces look similar, a hedgehog and an armadillo.  I feel that a Hedgehog is cute, however, where an Armadillo is down right UGLY!   Tongue  Thanks for the compliment on the Forum.  Roll Eyes

I went to your site and tried to submit my site.  It didn't happen!  All it did was ask me for my personal information over and over again!  Is it just PPC or is there free submissions?

Way down south in Mississippi (can you hum that tune?), I see Armadillos splattered all over the road.  I think the Good Ole Boys make sure they mash them but good with their Pick-em-up Trucks.   Shocked  They are pretty destructive little Suckers!  We have some on the Preserve.  They are virtually "walking rocks".

They are tough little suckers. God made them strong that is for sure. I have to disagree with your thought of them being ugly. I think they are pretty neat looking.

Would the destructive little suckers the the Good Ole Boys or the Armadillos? Grin
