What kind of contest would you like to see next?

We're planning some contest shortly, I already have few ideas which I try to polish a bit and choose the best one from them, but more heads is much better than one (especially than mine ), so I would like to see know what kind of contest you could be interested in, please post your ideas and maybe one of them would be used for our future contest.

thanks, we'll consider your options! We already have designer contest here(not sure if you know about this) and thanks to this contest we have our forum layout now
I've few ideas and wish to choose one where most people would be able to participate.

Howz about make a page with a logo , a punch line and choosing a profession(virtual) and claim your promotion. The most remarakable(funniest, wierdest , any kinda) but impressive should get a prize  .

We had pomotional website competitions , we were the toursim department of mars and were suppose to make a website to be launched on www(earth's network), and the limit was five pages. Must have a about us page, contact us page in that. We came third as we were begginers that time, we have a black and red combination and had given special winter time offers(which was most appreciated), we got third even though our website was ugly looking without any proper images, we got it on basics of our marketing strategies. Anything like this.

in short making website for things like mars tourism department or pluto's white house. Any virtual promotional campaigning websites.

Hmmm, i think i know what kind of thing you mean. I once went to a job interview and had to think up an event such as a circus or day out at the races and then think up a way of promoting it.
12 of us all went for the same job and they sat us all round a table. They gave us half an hour to chat to each other and make notes about what ever event we came up with and they told us that once we had worked everything out, that one of us would have to do a 2 minute radio broadcast.
We all sat chatting and by the time our half hour was up, we had managed to come up with a little pro-mo about an event that was to take place on what-ever day at what-ever time and stars such as who-ever would be attending.
When it was read out (not a real broadcast) we ended up just going over the 2 minutes we were supposed to take.
 
Anyway your idea about making a one page website about a fictional event isn't a bad idea. It might be better if it was done as a poster (picture) instead of a website though !

Our seniors ask us to do such things , as making promo stuff for impossible things(as you said circus event). Even a poster is good enough, I am there, if I get time I will be participating any time.

I didn't realise the purpose of this contest. It would help me sugest ideas if I knew more about the backgound behind the contest idea.

Andy, currently we just asking for ideas, I've collected 10 or so right now, and in the end will try to choose best one and leave the rest for future contests. So if you are good in something and wish to have contest related to this, shoot your idea here and I'll add it to our list

I  do not shine at anything in particular   However, I would suggest best photo...made into a website about photo content..or a poster....

Similar to Aji I would suggest a webmaster-related thing. So I suggest a Logo competition.

Maybe suggest a topic like a charity and let us generate a logo idea?
