Hi,

I am doing an experiement with blogs, I have taken a key phrase "promo pens" from my friends business and created a blog http://www.promopens.blogspot.com/  I got it indexed in just two days. Now I need to get some links.Now the problem is

I cant give a link back as I donot have any other page. Generallly no one accepts a blog page. So how can I get some links? Are there free submissions, which accepts blogs.

I guess it depend from blog, if you post something really interesting there I'm sure that people sooner or later would place a link to you ...

You can look for people who would like to link to blogs, or try a directory such as http://www.blogwise.com/

If you have interesting things to say, don't worry about links. People looking for these types of discussions will manage to find you.

Keep in mind that the main focus of a blog should be content (Expressive and outlandish blogs tend to be more popular). No one's going to link to your blog if it sucks.

I looked at your blog, and to me it appears to be an advertising campaign, nothing more. I'll be quite frank here, I doubt people will want to link to a blog that only talks about promo pens that they are selling...

If you want to make a business website for your pens, that would work. Making a blog for this type of content seems inefficient.

Blogs are very hard to get links to...especially as Retro said...when they are basically a commercial promotion.  Good luck, though!

Do a search for "blog directory" (an other variations) on google. You are bound to find some places that will link to you without a link back.

You can put a link back too. Just add them to your sidebar.

People here seem to be trying to help you spam a product marketing page?

Bloggs are supposed to be like on-line diaries. If it was a blog about the daily life of a "pen salesperson" it would have a place as a blog.

Let's try and steer marketing scum towards more ethical ways to push products like ecommerce websites!
