Hi all,

I want to develop a directory like dmoz.org for a Promotional Pens site and am looking for some already made application, which can ease my work.

Even I am ready to pay but will prefer a free open source application.

Thanks
Aji

Aji, what about  Links By Gossamer Threads http://www.gossamer-threads.com/
I'm working with them on http://www.pharos-search.com/
as long as you provide non-commercial directory you may use their script for free and if commerical you just need to buy a lincence.

Another is Directory Search, they provide a free script, but you have to keep their link on everypage (Powered by Directory Script) You can buy the script for $50US and remove the links.

I've check their site and seem that it's only work for version Links 2.0 but not for newers... guess they plan to use Links 2.0 as a showcase script and sell the rest of products.
