Alright, check this out;

Yeah, I didn't take that with a Digital Camera, I did it with an SLR. Yeah, since this is a photo forum, I decided to post some of my pictures and a link to my gallery; http://antithem.p9r.net/pictures/photo/default.php

Anyways, yeah, those wern't with Digital Cameras, but I did digitally modify them to remove the scratches and/or change the contrast and brightness.

Anyways, that's enough shameless pluging for me. I'm out.

Oh, and a bit of advice for digital camera buyers: Try to go for the model (I dunno if they make them like this yet) that allows you to adjust the focus and/or ASA. And get one that is (ofcourse) compatible with a smart card and flash card, and allows you to see the image in the back of the camera. Plus, it wouldn't hurt if it also included software so it could be used as a webcam. :-p

edit reason: just fix a URL leading to photos as previous didn't work.

hi thomasca, I've check some photos listed on your site and they look awesome, you're good in B&W, I've try myself in this but personally I didn't get even a single photo I may like  Tongue
By the way if it's not a secret how long you're in photography? as B&W photos always make me think that someone are in photography for a long time not sure why Smiley

agreed! a lot of cameras nowadays come with such features, it's actually just like in analog camera market, there are Point and shot models and more professional ones. E.g. I've now Minolta Dimage F200 which have manual focus which is very handful while I'm making photos in low light conditions. It also have full manual control over exposure, aperture and white balance which bring me some testfield for small experiments  Roll Eyes

as for previewing images on the back of camera, I guess almost each camera nowadays has monitor on the back only rare models come without it(very handful by the way since you can see results immidiately not waiting for picture developing).
As for smart card I would suggest it only to people who don't use other devices like PDA or mobile phones which support SD or MMC. To all people who has such devices I would suggest Secure Digital(come to replace MMC standart, new cards are faster than MMC and more solid and protected) or Compact Flash(this format is bigger in phisical size but much cheaper than other kind of memories).

nice feature, I had it on Mustek MDC 3500 and Minolta Dimage X20, although I didn't use it much because my poor internet connection, F200 doesn't have it but it's still great camera IMHO.
