So tell us what camera are you using? I'm using Minolta Dimage X20 but currently in process of upgrading it to Minolta Dimage F200 which give me more manul control over the camera.

Right now I'm in love with the entire line of Olympus digital cameras;  namely the Olympus D520-Zoom--it's by far the best point-and-shoot camera I've ever used.  In the past, I've worked with Canon, Kodak, and Nikon, and I'll never go back!

This is my digital camera, and I'm using Minolta Dimage X20:)  I'm very happy with it, becasue it belonged to somebody I know before I received it, so I also had the chance to see what quality it's capable of.....I finally now have time to 'investigate' it thoroughly and 'play'Smiley

I have an Olympus C700. It is a great camera. I love it. I will probably upgrade soon to a newer model because this is only a 2.1 megapixel.

2.1 megapixels! Mobile phones will soon have 5 megapixels. So go for at least 8 megapixels on a camera ortherwise you may be laughed at.

mobile phones wouldn't have good quality resolution and good optics anyway(at least not soon), I really doubt that any portable device like cell phone, watches or PDA with cameras could replace digital cameras. Also I don't see need in 8 megapixels unless you're going to do some quality printouts and have hardware necessary for this. Otherwise 4-5 megapixels is just enough IMHO.

Yeah, I agree. Higher resolution limits how many pictures you can store on your media card. If you are only interested in web graphics then a low end camera is fine. One reason to go for a high resolution image is so you can cut out a section, save it and it will still be of good quality.

BTW would you share some photos with us?

Yea Fuji rules  Grin I have a Fuji FinePix 4700 and it works great. I have found out that people start to get upset when you talk about the way Fuji works with CCD sensors since they make the pictures look like they were taken at a higher resolution. I keep three 64 Meg Scan Disk with my camera and it keeps me well satisfied with quality and number of pics.

why don't you try some long zooms? e.g. Konica-Minolta Dimage Z3 (I'm using myself it has 12x optical zoom it's very quiet and you can extend it from wide to tele in just 2 seconds or so), or Panasonic FZ20 or I've seen that Canon issued an update for it's IS 12x camera which seems to be very interesting camera as well.
