How do we get our files back?  And how can I get to my emails.  It's REALLY important I get to my files and emails.  When things like this happen, does the info simply get erased???

Is endore stupid enough to do this when I'm sure they are breaking some laws??

To change nameservers for your domain to another host, send an email to info@key-systems.net and tell them that.  They're very professional and prompt.

As to your files, I honestly don't know.

folks as for Endore, I've wrote to them yesterday and ask to appear if possible and answer question of folks who have troubles, not sure if they will find time so probably if you won't wait try to write them or call to support.
as for mails your only change is Endore... if they manage to restore themselves you maybe be able to get your mails, if not I guess they lost for ever so the only way to write again to people and ask them to re-send last messages to your new address.
As for restoring files there are some things which could help to those folks who has sites well indexed in Google or WayBackMachine.

So just go to http://www.Google.com or you may try also http://www.gigablast.com/ which cash spidered pages as well. Than try to find the page you wish to recover, you could try to find it typing in name of this page or exact address, once you see it appear in results try to open cache, if you're lucky it will be there waiting for you.
Also there are other place where you can try to search for your pages it's www.Archive.org and it's WayBackMachine - http://www.archive.org/web/web.php good luck with recovering! hope this info will help a bit.

just have a some good news I hope, folks from Key-Systems kindly agree to appear on our community and post detailed information on what to do in order to return you control over your domain, I just re-post it here in order that noone missed it. Original post could be found here.

Quote
To All Frustrated Customers of Endore,

you had registered a domain (or domains) through Endore Ltd., a reseller of Key-Systems.
Key-Systems is an ICANN accredited registrar operating from Germany. Unfortunately Endore seems to
have gone out of business, otherwise you would not be addressing these issues in this forum. Furthermore we have received many complaints ourselves and are doing our best to help.

The best solution to your problem would be to transfer the domain internally (without any extra cost) over to domaindiscount24.com, so that you can at least configure the domain. To do so, please proceed as follows:

a.) Please be so kind as to proceed to www.domaindiscount24.com (a business devision of Key-Systems) and open a customer account free-of-charge. Upon opening an account you will automatically receive your access information via email.

b.) As soon as you have recieved your access information, please send an email to support@domaindiscount24.com identify your 8-digit customer-id. and the domain(s) which we should internally transfer over to your customer account.

c.) Our Support will double-check if you are the registrant of the respective domain and if the information is correct, then the domain will be placed on your customer account and can be configured (DNS, WHOIS;
Email-Fowarding, URL-Forwarding inclusive) immediately.

Should the information not be identical with the WHOIS Information (as the WHOIS Information had apparently been modified in cases by Endore themselves), then we will require some kind of evidence from you that you are actually the registrant. Until then we can of course do DNS Updates, ...etc.

d.) As soon as the domain is on your customer account, you can then either stay with domaindiscount24.com (should you be satisfied with our services), or have the domain transfered to a new registrar of choice. We will support you in this transfer.

Here a quick overview of our services:
- Simple and real-time modifcation of your domains through your personal customer-online-interface
- URL-Forwarding (regular/hidden)
- Specified Email-Forwarding for up to 8 Email-Addresses
- Use of own IP-Address, NameServer and Mailserver possible
- Free WHOIS-Update at any time
- Unlimited number of Sublevel-Domains
- Use of our Nameservers
- Email- and Telephone-Support
- Use of the "Secondary NameServer" of Key-Systems to your own "Primary NameServer"
- We offer credit card payments, VISA; AMEX or MASTERCARD
- Webpsace-Services
- Mailspace-Services

As soon as you have forwarded your customer-id to us, we will take care of the rest in a professional manner.

Please address all support inquiries to support@domaindiscount24.com.

Again, we understand, that many of you must be frustrated with this situation, but we are doing our best to find a solution. We can assure you, that we had no information about this situation prior to it happening. Thank you for your understanding.

Should you have any further questions or require any assistance at all, please do not hesitate to contact us.

With kindest regards,

Your Team @ domaindiscount24.com

Hi,  Boy, I sure wish Endore would have at least said come and get your files.  I thought I backed up my stuff, but I cna't find the CD.  I went to Google's cache of my page and found it, and the question is, how does one save the pages from there?  "Save target as" is disabled.  I sure would appreciate any ideas.  Thank you.

Hi Sahar, for some reason in IE Save as usually fail to work properly on my PC it also won't show me source of the page, that's why I'm using Mozilla, it's pretty rare thing that save function won't work in Mozilla, and even if so you can always view source of page and copy it from there... hope this would help a bit.

I too got caught up with the endore issue. I found their current number but nobody is answering. I think that they have the phone off the hook. I am trying to get my domain registered elsewhere and have found that colossalhost.com is pretty similar to what endore offered. Hope this helps any of you out there.

Oh do you know if key-systems will be willing to let us have access with the domains registered under the name of Endore?

Hi,  Thanks.  I am going to try Mozilla.  I can view the source, but I can't seem to be able to save any of the images that are on the Webpages cached under Google.  Boy, what a mess!  Thanks again.

Here is the info posted by representative from Tucows OpenSRS, you can find original post here.

Quote
We are working to investigate this issue and have yet to receive a response from Endore.com who has a Tucows OpenSRS reseller account through which Endore.com has provisioned domain names to you their clients.

There are a number of customer service complaints from individuals who are looking to acquire management capabilities for their domain names, but unfortunately it seems Endore.com listed their own email address as the ADMIN email for the majority of domains registered. This will limit the domain owners in being able to transfer to a new reseller / registrar, as well as limit our compliance department from being able to email the username and password to our public domain manage interface for domain management (name server changes etc…). The difference between us and the majority of other registrars is the fact that Tucows OpenSRS is a wholesale-dedicated registrar, providing domain registrations as well as well as other wholesale services to ISP's, Hosting companies, Web Development firms, and consultancies.

Below you will find easy instructions on how to change your admin email address and request your username and password to be emailed to this address.  Then you will be provided a link to a referral list of other reseller's of ours in your own geographic area that have an excellent standing with us.

For those who do not need to make any immediate changes to their domain, barring a resurfacing of Endore.com, we will move over any remaining domains to another reseller in good standing within the next 60 days. We apologize that we cannot help with any of the other services you have acquired through Endore due to the fact that Endore only provisioned domain names through our system and we do not offer wholesale hosting solutions as part of our product / service offerings.

Here are your instructions:

1) Admin Email Address Change:

In order to get the password and user i.d., you'll need to change the admin
email contact. In order to change the admin email contact, we'll need to see
proof of ownership.

Please send a signed fax or scan with government photo i.d. (passport or
driver's license) stating that you as owner of the domain authorize the
change of the admin email contact and that you'd like to have the password
sent to the new email address. please see the form at http://www.adminchange.com/

Please fax this to 416-531-2516 attn: Support.

2) Once you have had your admin email address change confirmed and you now have your username and password, please login to http://manage.opensrs.net to have access to control or change contact info and name servers in real time.

3) You will now need to find a new service provider, you can find a list of Resellers of Tucows OpenSRS by Geographic area who are in good standing here: http://www.findanewreseller.com, choose your product, then your location, and you will receive a list of three resellers in good standing. You will have access to links to their website where you will be able to guage pricing and service levels to your satisfaction. If these do not satisfy you, please click the link that will provide you the next three resellers for that region.

If your domain is not renewing in the next two months, you may want to wait until we have qualified and chosen a new domain name supplier for you, which should happen in the next 60 days. Otherwise with control over the admin email address, you will be able to transfer to the registrar / reseller of your choice.

Here is an online FAQ center to answer other questions you may have regarding domain names and how the OpenSRS system allows you to manage them:

http://helpcenter.tucows.com

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact our compliance or sales departments:

compliance@opensrs.org
sales@opensrs.org

Thank your for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Best regards,

Peter Ejtel

Hi; thanks for providing all this info about ENDORE, the lowly bastards that they are.

I also represent not only my own pages, but a client's pages,
both hosted by ENDORE, both gone.

I have tried finding cached pages of my site to no avail.

As others mentioned, If I had warning, I would have gotten my files.

I am inclined to believe the files live "somewhere" even though those jerks at ENDORE couldn't find the decency to warn their customers.

Please email me at adamt222@yahoo.com with any hosting suggestions, or
if a release info regarding files comes about.  I could really use my client's files,
my own stuff is no big deal, I can do a re-write. I am not
looking forward to an entire site overhaul for my client based on ENDORE's stupidity.

here is update from Key-Systems which could answer some frequently asked questions:
Quote
To All,

as you can imagine we have been receiving tons of emails regarding Endore Domains and we are doing our best to get things sorted out. Thank you for your understanding!

Our main goal is to provide former Endore customers with access to their domains and the best solution for us to do so, is to move these domains over to our retail-portal domaindiscount24.com (dd24.net), as no cost is involved in this procedure.

As soon as you have opened a customer-account here (free-of-charge) simply forward an email to us at support@domaindiscount24.com with your 8-digit customer-id as well as a list of the respective domains. We will check internally if we can move these over to your new customer-account at domaindiscount24.com. If we require any further evidence, that you are the actual registrant we will do so by email.

Please note: We have been receiving the same questions over and over again. To open a customer account at domaindiscount24.com is free-of-charge. When going through the procedure you are asked to identify your method of payment. If you do not feel confident with us at this point in time, then you do not have to enter credit card details. Simply mark "wire-transfer" and the customer-account will still get created and you will automatically receive your login information via email.

As soon as your domain has been internally transfered to your customer-account at domaindiscount24.com we kindly ask you to update the WHOIS Information through your customer-interface. You can also modify NameServer entries online, enter URL-Forwarding, Email-forwarding, ...etc. These features are included.

For your information the domain is transfered internally with the currect expiration date, so no extra-costs arise.

After the domain has been placed on your customer-account you can then decide if

a.) you would like to transfer the domain to a new registrar of choice or
b.) leave it with domaindiscount24.com, should you be satisfied with our services.

Please note that when transfering a domain to a new registrar the expiration date is automatically extended by one year and you will most likely get charged for this through the new registrar. This decision is up to the registrant.

Should you decide to leave your domain with domaindiscount24.com, then briefly before the domain expires you will receive multiple emails asking if you wish to have this domain renewed or expired. You can also decide at that point in time what you wish to do.

Again our main goal is to provide you with access to your domain., so that you can get your websites back up and running!

Thank you for your understanding in this matter and please do not hesitate to contact us, should you have any further questions.

With kindest regards,

Your Team @ Key-Systems GmbH
