Animations

Does anyone know if you can add a name to an already-animated image? (totally 'doh' with this stuff, sorry!) 

I have PSP7 with Animation Shop, if that helps.  I looked up animation tutorials and got a headache trying to sift through them all, but if anyone knows of one that would show me how to do this - if it can be done - I'd sure appreciate it!

Jeni, what format of animated file, is it GIF? if it's GIF or AVI just open or import it to Image Ready, it'll show you all frames of animation and let you to edit each frame. So after you load it into Image Ready just add your text to first frame of animation, it will make it appear on all other frames as well. Would it be any help?

you will find an assortment of options in there for changing background colour and removing text also inserting text, oh your .gifs..... But your pic must be a .gif format and when you upload it, it must be uploaded under all files. You'll see what I mean if you go there.  This isn't such technically valid advice as Phoenix, but its the only way I know, and may be of some help to you...

THanks so much, both of you - senso, it is a gif, yes.  My niece wanted your daughters name added to a little animated .gif but I had no clue how - or if I could - to do it!  I felt so stupid! So I should open it in animation shop then?
