I used to be so good about Christmas shopping. I would make sure that my shopping was completed in November, before Thanksgiving Day here in the states. This year I was not as good. I just completed my shopping.

I did all my shopping online. I have not entered one store to do my Christmas shopping.

I have two questions for everyone:

1.) Are you all done with your Christmas shopping? (yes i know not everyone celebrates Christmas and I don't mean to offend those who don't)
2.) How much was done online?

Hi Hope,

No I haven't finished my Christmas shopping, there would be no fun for me if I had.  I really enjoy the last minute rush.

Haven't bought anything online this year.  Have looked plenty of things up though.

I havent even started yet... Roll Eyes
I think I will go tomorrow..
I not really like christmas or go out shopping for it..Because of all this crowed places and so..
I wish I could go to some places where they dont celebrate christmas..
Its always nice to see people how they try to make a happy face when they get any presents they dont like and cant use or get such comments like : "oh how nice, again something that I can put into the corner and can catch dust with" Undecided
I think whole xmas got too commercial..

yup holidays become more and more commercialized each year, as for shopping we didn't celebrate Christmas for many years while our country was under Communist party, now things are changed and xMas become national holiday here... I even heard the rumor that we'll have holidays not just on 31-1 and 7 but from 31 to 7 of January, hope this is turth as I always was jallleous about long winter holidays Grin But return to shopping, we have holidays but we have no tradition... actually selection of goods in our shops isn't so big even before major holidays, so there is not much to buy... anyway I'm planning to buy some presents next or maybe after next week, hope prices will not jump till that time.
As for online shopping, last item I've buy online was Digi Camera but since I buy it for myself I couldn't consider it as holiday shopping Tongue Also buying something online isn't so good here since we don't have much online shops with wide selection of goods, and delivery from other countries is too expensive...
That's all regarding my shopping, hope to hear more opinions about this.
BTW Hope seems that you're really like to pre-arrange things as probably I wouldn't be able to do shopping with advance in one month.

I  live in the country, but I have been fortunate enough on the visits to Sydney to be able to see some things which I knew would be alright for presents and bought them at the time....Also returning from overseas this year, I managed to bring some things back with me, which saves hunting around in the heat and flies and getting mossy bitten with zillions of people all wanting the same two inches of ground that you do, when you are browsing in a shopping mall here.
As for on  line shopping, I suppose, because I've managed to be out and about, (if you like) I haven't needed to.
But to be honest, if I hadn't been "out and about" I doubt very much if I would have had it done by now, far from it...It's not that I'm dis-organised, its just seems, I can't ever get ahead...most times I catch up, then the plot starts to disappear....somewhere Roll Eyes Grin
