Running windows 2003 server and wanted to know if there was a way to get iis to do a reverse dns lookup instead of logging the users ip?

Also, what log analizers are people using. I have been using weblog expert lite for over a year now and i am pretty happy with it, but want to know if there is something better that i am missing out on.

thanks

ups, never deal with IIS servers Sad our mod of coding board running IIS for a long time but from what I know he's skiing somwhere in mountains right now, hopefully I'm wrong and he already at home and will spot this post. Anyway I try to check if my friend know answer to your question. But  if you in hurry check out this forum http://www.hostingpost.com it's place for people who running hosting so I'm sure that someone should know the answer...

as for log analizers I'm using AWStats and it's work pretty good for me. Actually I've tested many others including weblog and wasn't pleased with any of them(sadly AWStats isn't exclusion of this rule Undecided ), I've also try to use some stratistic trackers but they didn't provide necessary info as well. So probably I have to write my own tracker one day to have all these features included(I've talk with several folks who develop different trackers and all of them wasn't interested to overload their scripts with such data) Tongue

I've been using Funnel Log Analyser I've only been using it for a couple weeks, so not sure what else, its a free program and tells me what I need.

With in the next while, I'll be using Maxamine, its a full service program that scans sites, logs and much more....but its cost is way out there.
