Hello Everyone,

I am conducting a mini, one question, survey and I am hoping you can help me out. It is related to a small online business I am putting together, so if you have a few moments, please answer the following question in your own words.

What is your definition of a quality product and/or service?

It is a general question and not aimed at one particular product or service. I welcome your input.

I thank you in advance for your help. I look forward to reviewing your answers.

Hi David,
A QUALITY product, in my view, works well (not shoddy), works easily ( has been well thought out), works fast, (saves time) and helps make my life more pleasurable.
That goes for a toaster to a PC program, millions of them for sale, but do they make my life more pleasurable?
   Hope it helps Smiley

hi David, I have to agree with Chris, as in my mind quality product is something that work forever and don't need to be fixed, and it perform tasks as it's prewritten in it's manual. As for services(I'm thinking now about online support in some shop) it should be fast, trustworthly and helpful(first of all).

Something that:

-Does what it's supposed to do
-Comes with a warranty
-Is fairly priced

To my mind a quality product would be something that was just a bit better finished/quality than other products I have seen.  The feel of something/pleasing to the eye, it would depend on the product really.  Quality service apart from getting something done for you would be a plesant person at the end and the beginning of the service and if it was a phone service definitely NOT push this button on your telephone and someone telling you, you are in a queue, all operators are busy at the moment.

I think this is a product / service made by the time you wanted to have it. It works properly and gives you the results you expected to have. It never breaks, and even when it does, you can fix it easily without any extra payment. The price doesn?t matter. And you will be very glad to work with those people who made this nice efficient thing again and again.

Think Lexus...

Solid, predictable, reliable, problem-free.

Quality and fairly-priced seem at odds to me. The opposite is usually true.

Great service simply means doing whatever is in your power to remedy a "situation" and to keep the relationship with the client in good standing.

I think i'd say the same as Retro-Teknix but add

- comes with additional added features as standard.

Ditto's on all the above, but I would add: Comes with good customer/technical support (depending on what the product is of course).
