probably we all seen at least once in some Sci-Fi film display that is consists nothing but air and hologram, and you know what several minutes ago I discover that this company http://www.io2technology.com claim that they already built something like this, they even have demos, you can check them here http://www.io2technology.com/images.htm
Seems that this display is work solely on air which is processed somehow, no gasses or vapor. But techonology as for now is kept under the secret which look suspisious to me, so as fact that there is said that only front side of display is actually display something and backward display is planned only in future, but if you check demos you can see man who sitting at backward side and play with fish in aquarium which he cannot see(if article is correct about front only view).
There is also other display which look to me more realistic since it's not based on air but fog http://www.fogscreen.com/index.html
so what do you think about this all, is our techonology advanced enough to do such things?
here is some article by the way http://www.wired.com/news/technology/0,1282,60410,00.html
Actually I forgot link where I originall find this news and when try to find it I've check few other sites such as CNN and ZdNet seems to have this article but when you try to access page it gives 404, that seems to me strange as well, why would they remove such revolutionary news?

I don't really think we're advanced enough for that yet, but I guess anything is possible these days, and technology is advancing rapidly - interesting to keep tabs on, that's for sure!

For some reason a few days ago I never posted my message on this topic.. At any rate, my statement was something similar to this:

- I think our technology is advanced enough to create heliodisplay.
- I have no doubt in my mind that this will come to pass and be used in households within the next few years.

Just my opinion. ;]

Actually, the creater revealed that the air is run through a set of metal plates. The air collects microscopic particles which makes the air easier to project on. THe idea is very close to the fog screen which uses water particles instead.
