Hi Sue,
Sorry bout the long absence, work has been so busy lately Smiley  Not getting home till after midnight.
So you just bought a new Combo drive? or is it a second hand one?  If its new, the "drivers" should have came on a cd in the box, but if not, you will need to do a google search with the brand and model number to find the right drivers.
The ones we have set up so far have been very easy Smiley

Another thing, on a differnt subject, I noticed some people buy a external copier/scanner/fax unit, and dont read the side of the box. the mimium system requirements are written on the side and some people try to run them on under powered machines Sad This causes unneeded stress Smiley
Any way, best of luck  Wink

Sue, maybe write a model and name of device here and someone could give you a link to drivers you need? (of course if you still not find them yourself)

Hello to Denis and Chris,
thankyou for your posts above. Smiley
Actually I rang the ISP and they said they gave me a special cd and two blank ones when they upgraded me...but they are nowhere to be found...so when I rang them again, they said to go to :
http://www.gocyberlink.com/english/products/product_main.jsp?ProdId=28
I did this, because they said it would accomodate my dvd combo Cool but on down-loading, I discovered it was only a trial version for 14 days and only would show dvd for 30 mins:(
So......now where am I? Sad  In fact I'm quite positive I didn't get them...but what can one do?

Is it a DVD / CD writer or just a player ?

Doesn't Windows have all the drivers on that you need ?

What about firmware. Have you had a look to see i you can upgrade that ?
