First thing would be to get some free website hosting. You might get some free space from your ISP. Then either use a redirect with your domain name and point it to your free hosted website (if you can) or find a free place to park your domain name, that will let you redirect. You might be in luck and you ISP might let you park your domain name and let you use it with your free webspace.

Other than that, you would have to buy some web hosting and park your domain name with them.
 Wink
Hope that helps.

Rosie, you just entered a new dimension  Wink
It is a long but interesting journey.
Regarding free hosting you can also try http://www.freeweb-hosting.com/
It is bannerless and of course FREE, good enough for the beginning. Good luck.

Good links 12noon.

Hi Activo! Thanks for the link! I am kind of stuck on designing the site today. I worked on it for 4 hours last night with Fortune3 storebuilder before I decided I didn't like it. Will look for new (free) website designers  software today and also check out some of the web hosts. Thanks again!rosie.

Ditto's on those comments!  But Rosie, it's worth it in the end- just try to be patient, and I'd suggest reading up on some basic HTML tutorials.  I've also been told yahoo's geocities has pretty easy to use web design page-makers (not sure what to call it, sorry)  -for free when you use their free hosting.

I was so lost when I first started, too, but dig in and slowly it will all come to make more sense.

You could also use a WYSIWYG editor - here, check out this link to see what I mean:

Good luck and do keep us posted, okay?

Hi Rosie,
html is not easy to remember, I am the first one to know that Embarrassed Tongue  Especially if you do hand-coding...(and there are an amazing amount of people on this site that continue to do so), But it is like riding a bike or maybe swimming, once you know it....it will always come back to you Wink Grin

Hi Susie, I am very glad I decided to learn some html. It's fun and rewarding. I just discovered yesterday after having mozilla on my pc for 6 mos that it has an html composer. I could have been using it all along for my ebay auctions and doidn't even know I had it. The more thins I learn, the less I feel I know somehow tho! Cry . I do have a question or 2. I have another 24 hours before my dns nameserver change take hold. After that should I be able to type in my domain name and find my webpage? I cannot find it now. Boy I am lost! LOL!

yes nameserver usually take 24 hours, after this you should start see your home directory when typing your domain or your page once you upload it(just in case, usually server setted up to look and display pages named index.htm, index.html, index.php and sometimes home.* so name your page accordingly)
