« on: October 09, 2003, 11:20:21 AM »

On my index page two-thirds of the way down on left I have a purple line which is not meant to be there.
I originally went to FTP to alter sold.com.au to ebay.com.au now that "sold" has been eradicated......The line wasn't there before I went into FTP, but was there after the alteration Roll Eyes  I've been in and out quite a few times and can't trace what is wrong.....can somebody please help me?

Go to the right of this link:Everything - Anything - Many things.<-- and delete the extra space.

That should do it.

This is the way your document looks in Notepad:
<A href="link">Everything - Anything - Many things</center>   </A>
See the extra spaces between the </center> and </A>?       ^  When I removed them and resaved the document, the line disappeared. I'm not sure why that didn't work for you, are you using an editor?

What I'm going to suggest is that you put the </a> before the </center>, and also make sure there are no spaces between them, like this:
<A href="link">Everything - Anything - Many things</A></center>
