I am currently planning to sign up with a couple of ad networks, but I'd like to clear up a couple of issues; I have been doing some reading, but I'd also like to get some help in Webmaster Key forum.

The list of ad networks that I am researching are as follows:

1. Valueclick http://www.valueclick.com
2. focusIN http://www.focusin.com/
3. FastClick http://www.fastclick.com
4. BurstMedia http://www.burstmedia.com
5. Google AdSense

(Traffic requirement should not be too high)

Things that I'd like to avoid:

1. I prefer not to use pop-up or pop-under
2. Late payment; I read number of posts in various forums complaining about late payments.  I definitely want to avoid that
3. Freedom to terminate the contract if necessary

If any of you worked with one or more ad networks listed and can share his/her experience, I'd greatly appreciate it.  Also if there is any other ad network that you recommend, please let me know.

I've try to sign-up with FocusIn, FastClick, BurstMedia and AdSense. (ValueClick don't work with people from Ukraine at all).
FastClick wasn't inerested to work with Pharos Search and BurstMedia wasn't interested to work with Webmaster Key. Maybe one day I've try to submit Pharos Search or WK to FastClick once again since they seems to be really good company.
Both these companies from what I know allow you to choose campaigns you wish to run and therefore you can decide whever you wish to display pop-ups or not. Both of them seems to have various banner sizes
I'm working with FocusIn for several month and in overall I've pleased with their services and support. They accept my sites. There is some problem because by defualt they run pop-ups with each banner and this wasn't acceptable for me, so I've wrote to support after working with them for about one month and ask if they could do something about pop-ups so I can display banners also on my community and don't annoy people with pop-ups. And they let me open second account for this purpose. So you can try to do this as well. After focusin was bough by Mamma.com they also raise quality of pop-ups IMHO and Gator pop-ups finally disappear from the list of my campaigns.
I also pleased with AdSense.
Regarding you question about terminating work with companies I think that only BurstMedia has something about this, I think they have something like dedicated ad serving when only they deliver banners to your site and in exchange they provide you with higher rates. But I think that you're free to cancell this contract as well but you should agree that all cash you've earn before you cancell it will be left for BurstMedia(hope my brain not fail me and I've telling you correct info).

I've almost forgot, FocusIn has now these types of banners: 468*60, 120*600 and pop-ups. Also FocusIn preferable for you if most of traffic which come to your site from US.
