I had a great weekend - share yours.

The weather was good so I hired equipment to finish my block-paved drive. After much hard work it was done and I got some compliments from neighbours. Not only that we had visitors from overseas so my wife wanted to use my car but I had started to fix a problem with the lights so had to put the car back together and deflate the tyres back to road use all at a minutes notice.

Monday - back to work to relax  Grin

How was your weekend...?

nice story Andy, BTW my weekend was great as well Wink we decide to spend last days of summer with my girl on the beach... so we've met on Saturday in the morning spend about hour under sun waiting for bus to discover later that from today it this route was cancelled and we should go by two busses Tongue (wish to note that we have sea everythere but we wish to go to the place where it's cleaner since no port in vicinity and sand is better and not so much people around as on beach in the city). But finally we get to beach find a free place there since most of people decide to spend it on the beach as well and somehow manage to get there though route was cancelled Huh but when we try to swim water was too cold and pretty dirty because of strong wind so after few minutes in water we got back to our place under the tree(my girl can't spend much time on the sun or she'll become sunbirnded) and start to read books, she read selflearner on PHP4(as she need to find some job for which she could get some real money, not like what people get here working as programmist) and me C++ (since I need to pass exam on it till 5 Sept.).
Later clouds come and wind become stronger so it become cold to stay on the beach so we go to busstop and after few tries finally get into the bus and ride to our homes. And to finish this story: at the home I discover that today water supply was ceased a bit earlier than usual so I have no chance to take a shower... Cry Tongue  (we have water supply only on even dates of the month, rest of days we don't have water at all since our water tubes become too old and rusty and city don't have funds to fix them, so in order to make their liftime a bit longer our city's administration decide to supply water only half of month Cool ).

We took the kids fishing. Smiley Caught about 5 fish! The kids have as much fun pumping yabbies, for bait, as they do fishing.  Grin
There is a jetty, 'Military Jetty' its called, near our place and it great to take the kids there. Its safe and you nearly always catch something.. Smiley
Aparently its the jetty they used to load tanks and military equipment on and off from during the war, and, legend has it, there are still tanks laying at the bottom, the ones that never made it!  Wink
All and all, we had a great weekend!!

I spent much of Saturday sleeping. Later on in the day I decided to finish my homework and went to bed at 7AM. Woke up at 1 on Sunday, blabbed with my mom about politics, took a shower, spent a little time on Weblamp, then got ready for youth group.

So that was it Tongue
