I want one of these just because it is new.  Grin I want to find out if it is as fast as they claim it will be. It should be fun. However, I can't afford a new computer, so I am taking donations. Roll Eyes

If anyone actually buys one of these, I would love to hear the reviews.

what about The Cell chip which developing by Sony and Playstation? it could be even more powefull if it ever be available since it's seems that it not going to be released prior to 2005. as for AMD I'm fan of this company Wink I'm on Athlon 1300.

Denis, I am a huge fan of AMD also. I run a 2400 and love it. I have been using AMD since 1996. I will not buy Intel anymore.

AMD, is coming along extremely well Smiley  I prefer it to Intel as well (cost-wise) but, I think it has a long way to go before it will be as well known and loved as Intel Sad
I still get people that can save a lot of money choosing AMD, but they still insist on "Intel".
At least, now, we have a choice, and an decent alternative!
We the consumer will be the winners, in the end Smiley

The new 64 bit AMD, if its as good as they say, will be a big step forward. Smiley If I do update, it will be a big jump from my current 700 Duron Smiley

Yeah, good news. I use Intel, but my brother has been very pleased with AMD in the years he's been using them. I'm glad to see a new version.
